Is your site secure and safe?

Yes! Our site and any transactions you make with us are secured by Thawte Security Certificates.

3-D Secure


All payments made by credit or debit card are secured using 3D Secure passwords. This significantly minimises the chance of your card being used fraudulently and without your knowledge by a third party.  If you would like to read a little bit more about 3D Secure then please click here, don't forget you can always contact us with any questions you may have.

How do I pay?

We accept most major credit and debit cards on our website, card details are secured and encrypted using Thawte, we never see your credit card details! We also accept Paypal account payments. All goods remain the property of Leonard’s Gifts until paid for in full. All our prices include VAT and there are no hidden charges, please contact us if you require a VAT receipt.

Do you accept cheques?

For website sales we regrettably can no longer accept cheques as a form of payment due to the high level of cheque fraud.
We do however still accept them in our high street shop in Swanage providing you supply a cheque guarantee card.

How will my item be sent?

Most items are posted via Royal Mail First Class with the exception of larger items which may be sent using a courier or parcel service, where this is the case it will be clearly stated in the item listing. There may also be a surcharge for heavier items, if this is the case again it will be clearly stated in the item description.

When will my item arrive?

Orders received and paid for in cleared funds by 3pm GMT Monday to Friday are usually dispatched same day and will normally arrive in the next working day's post. Please note that Leonard's are not responsible for delivery times via Royal Mail. Courier delivery times may vary please contact us if you require the item(s) urgently.

My item has not arrived!

Please contact us making sure you include your Name and order number(s) and we will attempt to locate your item. Please be aware of delays at Royal Mail due to Bank Holidays and Postal Worker strikes and seasonal delays such as Christmas.

Items will be posted to the address supplied by the buyer whilst completing checkout, it is the buyer’s responsibility to check that the address supplied is correct, Leonard’s Gifts accept no responsibility for items posted to incorrect or out of date addresses.

My item arrived broken!

Despite being well packaged some items do arrive damaged, we will of course replace the damaged item free of charge or offer a full refund if a replacement is not possible. All we ask is that you contact us first to arrange to return the damaged item to us, we will pay for the return postage costs but you MUST contact us before sending the item back.
