Leonard's Gifts 28 Day Returns Policy.

We* hope you like your item but understand that sometimes you may wish to return it, either because the item is faulty or if you simply have a change of heart as such we offer a comprehensive returns policy as detailed below. This policy is subject to change without notice.


A quick summary.

  • Damaged or faulty items must be reported to us within 3 days of delivery.
  • We will pay for the reasonable** postage costs of returning a damaged or faulty item to us.
  • You have 28 days starting the day after delivery to return any items to us.
  • Refunds will be for the full cost of the item(s), including the original P&P costs paid.
  • You must pay the postal costs of returning any unwanted, undamaged items to us.
  • We reserve the right not to issue a refund if unwanted items are returned in poor condition.

If you are unsatisfied with your item or if it arrives damaged please contact us via our contact form within 3 days of delivery. We will then be able to arrange a refund or replacement. You have 28 days starting from the day after you receive your item to return the item to us.

Refunds for damaged or faulty items will be for the full cost of the item including the original postage and packing paid. Sometimes we ask that you return the damaged item to us for inspection, if this is the case we will also refund to you the reasonable** postage costs of returning the item to us. We are often able to send a replacement item to you free of charge, we will discuss this option with you when you contact us, replacement items are usually sent upon receipt of the damaged or faulty item, if we are unable to offer you a replacement item we can issue a full refund.

Refunds for unwanted items, items no longer required due to a change in heart, will be for the full cost of the item including the original postage and packing costs. All we ask is that you contact us within 28 days of receipt to let us know you no longer want the item and also that you return the item to us, unused, in the original packaging and in a fully resaleable condition via a recorded delivery postal service (eg Royal Mail Recorded Signed For). Buyers are responsible for paying the postal costs of returning unwanted items to us.

If an item sent by a traceable postal service goes missing on it's return to us we will do everything we can to help the buyer locate the item and ensure it's safe return to us.

Items posted back to us by a non traceable postal service are done so entirely at the buyer's own risk, if the item being returned goes missing in the post Leonard's accept no responsibility and will not offer a refund or replacement.

Please always contact us first before posting items back to us to obtain a returns reference number and to allow us to resolve any queries.

We reserve the right to issue only a partial refund or no refund at all if unwanted items are returned to us in poor or unacceptable condition. Please ensure you package the item(s) carefully to prevent postal damage during it's return to us. We recommend you obtain postal insurance and proof of postage, we will not be held responsible for items damaged in the post on their return to us and no refund will be given in this circumstance.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

** By "reasonable" we mean the standard postage cost of returning your item by traceable delivery, ie "Royal Mail Recorded Signed For" not the more expensive "Special Delivery" service. We will not pay the costs for example of returning an item to us by using a courier service when there is no need to have done so. Please discuss return options before sending your item back to us.
